Hi, I am a little spoilt in that I have both RPM and ProMax on my doorstep in Bucks.
Anyone had any particularly recent issues I can draw on as I am a new 944 owner and need some advice, as I assume I am going to need these guys at some stage?
Any input welcome, I am not affiliated to either !

Cheers,

I have used ProMax several times, good communication and sensible about what needed doing both now and later.

I've used Promax many times for my S2 and always found them to give great service with good prices and fantastic communication. I've used RPM once and they too were very good, but Promax is closer to me and they have courtesy cars which RPM didnt at the time.

Recently used RPM, to be fair they seem to have done an excellent job on the water pump and front seals on my 944.

However, they had the car for 8 days for a ten hour job, and I felt like I was at the back of the queue all the time. And not that it matters much but they didn't clean my car - they seem to clean all new ish Boxsters etc. that they work on!

In summary: a good job, not cheap and not a quick turnaround. In the future I will think rather than go straight back to them.

Hi Gary

Well worth you coming up to one of the club nights as there is a wealth of knowledge that will save you ££'s. I believe there might be a curry night coming up at the end of January in Buckingham, I'm sure you would be made very welcome.

After i have removed my torsion bars i will be using promax to do a full suspension geometry set up, as all the settings are out after fitting my coilover kit.
last work i had done was quicker than i expected and the quality was much better than the guy in kempston i used to use.
