I'd like to place a recommendation here for David Raper trading as Car-tech & Care in Brompton-on-Swale near Scotch Corner , North Yorkshire http://www.car-techandcare.co.uk/index.html . Last week David replaced the belts & water pump on my 944 as well as doing an oil service and a few other jobs and I have to say its the best customer service i have received from any garage in nearly 20 years of motoring . He's very knowledgeable , nothing was too much trouble and prices were also very , very competitive .The savings in labour alone for changing the belts and pump made it cheaper to make the 600 mile round trip from the north of Scotland rather than have the work carried out by either the indie or OPC here in Aberdeen
. I'd encourage anyone who lives a distance away to call David for a quote first before deciding its too far to travel . Catterick race course is only about 10 mins walk from the garage so you could spend a day at the races whilst your car is in the workshop . Top bloke , great service and can't recommend enough .
