It is with great pleasure to announce, with a complete refreshed website over last year the launch of the 2010 Porsche Awards http://www.porscheawards.co.uk For 2010 you can vote in 17 specific categories, voting for all or many categories as you like. Voting is open to everyone and will close on 31th December 2010, where the results will be announced in the 1st week of January 2011. There have been a few changes for 2010, there are few new categories including, '11.Porsche Product' and '15. Porsche Journalist'. Not forgetting category 13. the Porsche Club which was won by Tipec after a very close vote with the PCGB. From last year's Air-cooled and Water-cooled split for Car Sales and Service has been changed to Porsche Classic (pre-1990) and Porsche Modern (1990 onwards). The full list of of voting categories are: 1. Independent Porsche Classic Car Sales Garage (Cars Pre-1990). 2. Independent Porsche Modern Car Sales Garage (Cars 1990 onwards). 3. Independent Porsche Classic Car Service Garage (Cars Pre-1990). 4. Independent Porsche Modern Car Service Garage (Cars 1990 onwards). 5. Independent Porsche Parts Supplier. 6. Independent Porsche Tuner. 7. Official Porsche Car Sales Centre (OPC). 8. Official Porsche Car Service & Parts Centre (OPC). 9. Porsche Motorsport. 10. Porsche Track Day. 11. Porsche Product. 12. Porsche Website. 13. Porsche Club. 14. Porsche Magazine. 15. Porshe Journalist. 16. 911uk Site Sponsor of the Year - Twin Gold Award & Twin Silver Award. 17. 911uk Porsche Users Garage : Car of the year - Twin Award. Hi ![]() I sometimes wonder about these "awards" ... awards for garages, opcs, products etc etc... Are you not missing the point somewhat... Not a single award for an actual PORSCHE CAR or even a PORSCHE OWNER..... be it a model or a trackcar etc.... All the best Brett ![]() |

All the best Brett ![]() Thanks for the input We do have a Motorsport Award, which covers any team or driver. The aim for next year is to incorporate a favourite vehicle choice, as you have mentioned above. Otherwise the voting for 2010 is very much still open and the 2010 club award is still up for grabs, "Tipec" needs your vote ![]() |
