Does anyone out there know the simple answer to legisltaion about baby seats ? Can I use a child seat in the rear of my 944 Cab?It still only has the one belt strap. If not can I use it in the front?
Child is 2 and a bit.
Thanks

If your child is over 2 I think I'd say B*****ks to it & go for a booster cushion. It would be safer. My daughter is 18mths & almost big enough for one in the small rear '44 seat. She might then have somewhere to put her legs. If it looks right Plod isn't going to bother you......

Hi,

As long as the car doesn't have a passenger airbag, then it would be fine to have the child sat in the front. You may find though, that the seat belt may not quite be long enough to secure the car seat. If that's the case, Porsche Shop sell seat belt extenders that can be used.

The lap belts in the back are hopeless.

Regards,

Ben
