I have been looking at quads and the like mainly just for pootering round my paddock but road legal so I can nip about the village legally ( unlike some) and came accrsss this on Flea-Bay. How crazy are these !

You can quite often see well-off Asian students revving around Glasgow city centre on these. To a man, they’re all driving dangerously … wheelies down the street, sliding round corners, smoking the tyres … and never wearing helmets.

On the other hand, if you actually have some land to use one on away from the roads … hell yes, they look like great fun!

Tony, quads are actually quadracycles in law & don't need helmets. Although it is a damn good idea to wear one!

The reason i thought they are so dangerous is you are so low to the ground , there is no way you will be seen by car drivers let alone larger vehicles. Even a normal quad you sit as high as in a car but those bloomin go carts will be practically invisible

I could do with a quad for gardening type work in the paddock so i thought why not get a roadworthy one for a laugh ;)
