Well, its 34 years today since we got married in Birmingham and then went to the Knebworth festival to see The Rolling Stones. All a bit of a mistake really,no I dont mean getting married nor seeing the Stones but due to date mix ups we ended up with both events on the same day.Worked out all right really,we saw the end of Lynnyrd Skynnrd, then all of 10cc and after a long wait ,the lads themselves! Absolutely brilliant! I mean, what else would you want to do on your wedding night? :love8: So,34 years later, here we are, having raised 3 kids and half a dozen labradors,oh,and the current staffie, countless guinea pigs and loads of tropical fish. The Stones are still going strong and so are we! I have to have a quiet laugh because in the 70s when we got married everybody said it was uncool and wouldnt last,so to all those people :thefinger:

Well done, I'm 20 years next month and I'm 39 now. Everyone said it wouldn't last, getting married at 19 and we had a 1 year old son. I showed them. The best thing I ever done and I hope you feel the same way. Come to think of it. I hope my wife feels the same way too.

Well done John,

Me and Mrs.ben944 will be celebrating 10 years of marriage on Thursday. 2 kids, a renovated house and a couple of ear bashings later and I'm still enjoying it. I think even 10 years in this day and age is an achievement. Break out the bubbly.

Ben

Flowers? What are those then? I stopped wasting my money on that sentimental shite after Mrs.ben944 complained once that a particular bunch of flowers wasn't to her liking! And she's never had a bunch of flowers off me since!!!

Who says romance is dead??? Hope Mrs.ben944 doesn't read this or I'm a dead man.

Ben :bounce:

My missus challenged me to name her favourite flower.

"Self Raising" got me no tea for a week
