The 996 has gone in favour of some building materials I'm afraid.

Hope the new owner has as much enjoyment out of the car as we have for the last 6 years.

For us it's off to pastures new. Once the build is finished at the end of the year I'm going for a Morgan Aero 8. I know most of you will think I've gone mad (or more mad) but I've done my research and been out driving one and fell in love with it!

It's been great in the Porsche world and I will no doubt have another 911 one day in the future as I've had a ball. We've made many good friends along the way and hopefully ones which are here to stay regardless of the cars we drive.

All the best to you all and no doubt see you all again when I have more time after the build is finished.

Yes and I left the stickers on it!

Loads of bricks, that's for sure and windows, doors, bathrooms, conservatory and a new garage!

I am sorry you simply cannot leave the Porsche fraternity...you would be sadly missed. You can still be involved even with an Aero 8 ??

After all you wouldnt suit the tweed jacket required for the Morgan club so you may as well stay as a member of TIPEC and carry on being Porsche Aero Pig.

As to the car, hell why not, you want one have one have one !!!

I hope the build goes well and see you soon at some event or other.

You’re going to have so much fun with an Aero 8.

We had an evening at the Scottish dealer, Russell Patterson Morgan, with PCGB. A lovely place with some amazing cars. Russell races a couple of V8 Morgans at Knockhill and regularly thrashes the 911s in his class. He drives an Aero 8 away from the track as well …

Y’know, I think an Aero 8 could look rather nice in Gulf blue with an orange stripe.
