I might be quiet for a bit, I've managed to hang on to my desktop as long as I can but it's time to pack it away.

The wagon will be here any minute to load us up for our new life in Kent. :) It's been a long time coming, the commuting up and down has put 28,000 miles on the R32 in 8 months

We have lived in the frozen North near Falkirk, lived in the Midlands (Burton on Trent, Stone, Daventry) for years now it's time to try the South. Not sure I will get used to the beer, but I will give it a go :)

Good luck moving. I hate moving and can't see me doing it again through choice. I hope the weather is good to you and your cars down there.

Good luck Sean. I gather the formative meetings of the North Kent Pigeon Fanciers Club & the Invicta Whippet Racing Society will be a week or so after you move down
I've asked for an interpretor for our next club meet so people will actually understand you rather than nodding & shaking heads in what they think is the right place

Seriously hope it all goes well, pop me a mail or ring if you need a hand.

Hope the move goes well and you get all settled in without any hiccups

I hate commuting 10 miles! Big chunk out of your life. Anything will be better than that. Had to go north today & the volume of traffic was driving me mad. (Hard to overtake when your car hits peak power at 4000rpm.) All the best with your new life. Hope you have more time to live a little!

How the hell are you going to get the Speedster down there without removing it from the garage??

(Good luck with the move by the way)

This made me laugh far more than it really should. (Sorry Sean.)

yeah he drove the speedster down alright - on the back of a flat bed lorry whilst said garage queen was covered in finest silk robes with goretex and merino wool covering over that.

Sadly some of the fleeces came from a flock living below 3000 ft (sea level) meaning that the wool was not quite so hardy as it could have been

Having read this topic I am getting the distinct impression that Seans car hasn't seen a lot of bird poo in its time :bom:

Good luck with the move , I'll bet you bought a house with a nice garage(s) didn't you !

Good luck Sean and Haley.

Our move was hassle but the best thing we've done in a long time, that was just over a year ago now.

Cheers
Paul

The weather might be better but the traffic is worse :? . Takes a while to find good roads to enjoy.
