I lasted 3 weeks as night Manager early in my career.

I bought blackout curtains and still couldn't get to sleep, the other problem was my team were a bunch of hairy faced old girls. They were very nice and great workers but we had nowt in common so the night used to tick by very slowly.

I feel for you mate.

My Ex Father-in-law used to run a B&B (5Star) but didn't work long hours.

He just got his wife to do all the work.

She's now his Ex wife.....

Luxury, We had to work 25 hours a day at mill and pay mill owner for privilege :bounce: :bounce:
Nights never bothered me, I'm a real martini sleeper, I used to hate 5.00 am mornings in the winter and afternoon shifts in the summer
