It is time I got this off my chest:

Why can't the topics within each forum be listed in order of the date and time of the last post, like every other forum I have ever used. The topic with the most recent reply is then listed first. It makes it much easier to find the latest topics and posts.

The current choice of topic orders does not allow this, and is the main reason why I rarely bother using this website, unlike days of Porsche-1,net!!

Not sure I get what you mean, I've just checked several of our forum's and all of the topics are in date and time order based on the last posting into that forum. The only topics outside this are the sticky's which are mainly in the events section.

The view new posts also lists everything in date and time order.

I've logged in as you using your permissions and everything is as above :?:

"view new posts" only list topics that have been updated and list them for all forums.

What I want to be able to do is sort by "last post" in each forum. This facility is available in most other forums I use, e.g. Boxa.net. This forum only allows you sort by author, post time, views, replies or subject.

Forgive me, I don't understand how these are different? Can you post a screen shot showing what is wrong?

What operating system and version are you using? What browser and version?
