My understanding is that postings on this forum are primarily written in English, however some of the recent postings are certainly not in English.... not as I know it anyway.

Am I just a grumpy old man, or does the the poor grammar, punctuation, spelling, and general immature 'text' style postings wind others up as well?

Let's keep the standards up to what we've become accustomed to....... and a standard the forum should be seen to be by 'browsers' who stumble across it.

Rant over, hope I haven't made any mistakes!

Dun no wot ya meen Jon IMO  :blackeye:

Sorry had to be done

I can't stand or even understand what half this text speak is and on another car forum I visit they've put a message up saying they'll automatically delete posts that are not understandable or have swear words in that are thinly disguised with the occasional "*#*!" in it. This is a family friendly site isn't it?

I can't stand it either. That may make me grumpy old man too but it's annoyed me since I was about 20 (now 27) so I may be before my time.

Porsche set standards, surely the forum should maintain a certain standard as well.
