When VAT was reduced to 15% the chancellor put 2% on fuel duty, now we are back to 17.5% VAT the 2% duty has stayed. I've just nailed my name on this petition.

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Fuel duty reduction, now VAT has increased to 17.5%, please deduct the duty which was levied when vat was reduced to 15%

I filled my car up the Thursday on the M6 and it cost me £104.55!!!
It was on fumes, but even so.
I have been driving simce 92 and I am sure I remember 70p a litre?

yea and its still going up,i can still remember when it was1/11d per gallon when i used to fill up my vespa one and a half gallon tank used to last a whole week but i was only earning £7-15 a week.goog old days!!!
