Post subject:  Traffic enforcement vehicles

Hello all, I was driving to work on Saturday morning via the motorway (M60) and after spotting a TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT vehicle ahead I made sure I was bang on 70mph. It then got off the motorway and I upped the speed slightly but as I passed the other side of the slip road I noticed another one sat on the chevrons with a camera in the back window that resembled a web cam pointing at me. It also had TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT on the back and VOSA on the side. I think I may have gone passed it at around 80mph but after arriving at work I was reassured that it wasn't a speed camera but instead it was checking for tax, M.O.T and insurance all of which I have. Can anyone confirm this. Thanks.
Andy Bruce.

The vehicle in question is indeed operated by VOSA a government agency concerned in enforcing the safety of vehicles and in particular M.O.T and the commercial equivelent plus goods vehicle operators licencing etc.
I wouldnt worry too much about that particular ANPR camera but it does serve to remind you that when big brother pings you it is always too late. I drove M11 , A15 A1(M) route on Sunday and I have never seen so many SPECS cameras in my life , now they are dangerous ( if you speed ) it must have put about half an hour on top of a 90 minute journey :bounce:
