Almost a week early I know but starting work tomorrow (Sunday) night and will be away in the truck untill late xmas eve as this is a mega busy week for me so just wanted to make sure I wished everyone a merry christmas before the actual day as I will be banned from the computer for the day when I get home. Thanks to everyone who has helped me out in my first year of been a Porsche owner, your a great bunch and I endevour to get to more than 1 club meet in 2010. Its had its ups and downs but the downs are soon forgotten once the key is turned and 1st gear is selected. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of going to the dealership for a part I couldnt source, they were a little surprised when I parked a 50ft artic in the car park but treated my little 944 the same as the guy having his Cayenne serviced, my bill was lot cheaper than his too but the staff were great and explained to me its not the age or the model that matters its the badge sir which I thought was fantastic. Heres to a great 2010 and loads of fun in the Porker.
MERRY XMAS ALL.

Hi! I drive a 440hp MAN like yours, auto box, good fun most of the time.I drove for Taylors of Martley years ago when I was agency driving, all trailers over 15 foot if I remember correctly. The MAN is a good piece of kit really but a bit of a pain when pulling out of junctions and roundabouts as the autobox is a bit slow in those situations.I see your Porsche is in the fastest colour like mine! :)

Merry Christmas/happy holidays to all. Stay safe on the snow (not applicable to my part of Central - not a flake yet)!

Merry Christmas everyone.

Thank you to all those that have helped with the maintenance queries. For keeping us amused in the night club and for all the fabulous events that have organised up and down the country. :thumbright:

Haley and I wish you a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Merry Xmas to you all, and best wishes for next year. Some of you, us, and me, have had it hard this year - I remember a number of redundancies and Porsches up for reluctant sale.... I hope you all got jobs in the end and managed to keep your cars. Hopefully twenty-ten will be better.

It's been said hundreds of times, but this club / forum really is a great place to be, friendly, plenty of advice, and not too PC, i.e. if you're out of order you get told so!

Just been Skyped by my brother in New Zealand - they're off to barby some sausages on the beach for Xmas lunch!

He was a finalist on The Gladiators.... but that's another story.

And I'd like to add my sentiments too.

I remember the reluctant Porsche sales too - very sad.

I hope everyone has a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010. :)
