Lo all, I am very happy to have received my membership pack but a little suprised that there isnt even the smallest of car stickers :( .

I would have thought that it was a great way of advertising the club and I have definately seen them on members cars ( including one I bought) .

Do you usually get at least one sticker and we have perhaps run out or do I need to cough up :blackeye:

Cheers Mas

We're all out at the moment, that's why we are using the tax discs.

I'm waiting for a price for new ones.

I have heard rumours that members of another well known car club are paying postmen to acquire them TIPEC stickers to improve the image of their pork but I'm sure these rumours are unfounded

Cheers for the info

Mas

I would like a couple of tax discs, as I have never seen them

If youre out of stock how about a re-design? they are pretty awful stickers, how about clear background for starters. I would also refresh the logo - emphasize the shield more with just TIPEC written on it and have the enthusiast club bit written below?

I'm sure who ever put the effort in to design them will be well chuffed , there's nothing like being subtle is there

I'm regretting starting this topic now :bigsmurf:

Don't be offended, everything needs a restyle from time to time - look at Porsches!

Dont you ever look back at things you thought were brilliant at the time to think they were not so good now?

if the TIPEC car stickers are being redesigned, how about putting regions on them ?

Mas, see what you've started :blackeye:

We can put the regions on them but there are a couple of issues:-

1. We would need to pay a template cost for each region, these are typically £50 x 20 = £1000
2. To get a decent price on the stickers for each print run we have to order a minimum of 2000 x 20 = £6500

Brian might go off on one if I send him an invoice for £7500 for window stickers.

Just an oberservation...
The 'stickers' are not actually sticky.
This was so the concourse people could peel them on and off without leaving marks on their windows.
The original reason they were black was to match the most popular club polo shirts.

Live and breathe the Marque,
Stephen

Hi

Would I go off if presented with an invoice for £7.5k

Not at all if I had the stickers also

I would then sell them off at £15 each in such a manner that demand remained and price kept solid

It's all about price elasticity of demand
