I have had my road angel for around four years, I have just realised that the voice is Tiff bloody nidell, so I have had to turn him off 'cos he does my head in, particularly when he says "school ahead" when you are on the m5 !

i have a garmin the vioce on mine is mr boring so i have to put up with a womens voice on mine i call her dora! most times she works ok but she kept telling me to turn left into the irish sea and do a uturn on the forth bridge and she always has the last word just like a woman!!!

On TomTom you can alter the prompts to have different voices for the various speed cameras, directions etc, so it's not monotonous.

This is probably better so the brain doesn't tune it out completely
