Hi Very good tyre but the downside is wear. I'm afraid that the pay off for performance is expense and wear rate Recently had 2 Pirelli P Zero's fitted to the rear of my 993 and have written one of them off after 43 miles (yes 43 miles). All down to a nail in the tread too close to the side wall. The previous pair lasted about 7500 miles |

thats what happened to my last rear tyre 3inch screw right on outside edge have read about rate of wear on these tyres but i only average 2500-2750 miles per year so overall if i get 7-8000 miles out of them = 3years motoring i can stand that for extra grip!! |

I too have found the Pzeros to be excellent tyres. My 928 handles great with them. I have also found the Toyo proxes to be a great tyre too. Stephen |

Hi, I'm changing back to 16" 8j-16 rears & 7j-16's frts on my 944 87myr from 17" Cup 1's. What tyres would you rec, the tyres on the wheels are Toyo (see pic below) Attachment: DSC03498.JPG [ 11.86 KiB | Viewed 4546 times ] 245 55 16's rears & 205 55 16's frts The wheels are coming tomorrow and after confirming they fit ok, i'll be looking at changing the tyres for a quality set, no sure what these T1'S are like. I use the car daily on a mixture of A & b roads and am looking a getting a better ride and handling from the worn out and rock hard Michelin pilots on at the moment. Any tips ? thanks |

its ok found them, 220 and 260.... just looking for alternatives... even their "track" ish tyres are 200's, compare that to R888 at 80, and Kuhmos TT at 50... might be worth a punt.... |
