He has just been driving a gorgeous Guards red 911 & is now talking about making a 1:1 scale Spitfire. |

i watched this programme the other week and i agree nice 911 in go fast red,the programme brought back many memories about the days when an airfix model was a great challenge always had a bit left over and that glue got everywhere and melted some of the parts befor you could put them together . it was great to see some kids actually doing something with their hands other than pressing buttons on a keyboard or games consol alright i know it was for television but there still was a sense of achievement from all those involved when they pushed it out of the hanger for all to see and if you have a chance to go and see a spitfire flying or just standing still you cant help admiring it, it looks like its going fast even when it standing still just like some porsches!! the greatest combat plane ever built yes it was the one to have like a 911 but do not forget the its stable companion the hurricane done just as much work but a bit like the 944 always in the shadows. |

It was donated to the museum they built it in. It looked good. |

Excellent. I watched the earlier part of the show but my (nearly) 3 year old daughter made me change channel. ![]() Stephen |

It should be at RAF Cosford, I'm there for a Breakfast Club meet, so I'll have a look for it.. Great TV, I do enjoy him doing that kind of show.. garyw |
