I read that an EU directive demands, in the name of the Fourth Reich, that all petrol must have 10-20% ethanol in it by 2013, which would corrode metal petrol tanks and pipes, and could also cause engine problems in classic cars, even though it might be good news for drag racers.

Is anyone aware of this and/or any organised resistance to this crazed directive?

Hi :)

I didnt realise about the EU directive :(

I know that in the US some 928 owners put in some petrol with 5% Ethanol and it MELTED their fuel tanks and parts of the fuel lines (928s have PLASTIC Fuel tanks)

All the best Brett :)
