Post subject:  A couple of Turbo 944 Ive seen NE1 seen them formed a view ?
I was very tempted by this one e bay I.D 140338948959

but on quizzing the seller he hasnt had the servicing done 'properly' since he has had it for 3 years ( though few miles apparently) I.E recent history lacking. The ad said good service history. Saying that it looks in very smart nick but I do like to see regular specialist servicing

I liked the colour , the interior the 'apparent' bodywork condition and thought 5000 was about right IF serviced properly. It is unsold and still for sale. Also theres a mark one turbo on e bay that the bloke cant ge any interest in at 2700 , usual tale of owned by a mechanic/garage owner but I do say it looks in very nice nick ( from pics anyway)

Mas please don't use text speak it is horrible!

It looks pretty good, define serviced properly? It should have been serviced every 6 months or 6K (Turbo may be 3K) The belts are due maximum 4 years or 40K. The plate is some non-descript irish plate so worthless. The steering wheel is an aftermarket one so not a special Porsche one!
I think it needs a lot more questions asked.

I dont approve of text speek myself TBH but unless you lengthen thre maximum topic length it's going to creep in to the odd title sadly , im right on the topic length limit there :P

I just wasn't happy re the recent history bit I.E one minute (in the ad) it has and on the phone it hasnt. Im happy with less history if the price is a less history price.

Being well accross the country from me I'd have to travel and probably pay 300 quid to have it checked over properly then find the history is even worse than promised, that would really annoy me so I've held off on that one :cry:
Might miss a gooden there who knows. I thought the other one is either a reasonably priced gem or a dog but again its a long way to look difficult this lark isnt it :bounce:

If your serious about a 951 & if you don't want to pay a dealer top money you must be prepared to travel. And to walk away.

I know JMG has a 220hp 944T for sale :roll: and it's been breathed on to put out around 290hp now :evil: Customer car, full JMG service history, £5k. Customer has moved away and left car at JMG to sell. Open to offers direct with customer or through JMG with a full warranty at extra cost but the warranty's the best you'll ever see :wink:

Breathed on to put out 290 :bom: , do you know the car / owner ? . Its not on their website at the mo.
