Warning over false number plates A crackdown on the use of illegal number plates has begun in Dorset. Dorset Police officers armed with Automatic Number Plate Recognition devices will target motorists with illegal number plates until Friday. |

Its country wide Gord, they are claiming its to get at crims who are using false plates etc. No its a lets make a lot of money in fines week out of all them plates we've sold but they have to get altered to look good and any other minor misdemeanor like a porsche badge instead of GB on the end of a otherwise legal plate

They are out in Coventry today on the A45/A46/M69.. nothing special except the surprise of the Silver CaymanS with a roof bar.. with blue lights !!! garyw |

Watch out on M6 Rugby/Coventry stretch they have unmarked Nissan Warrior in silver with fixed crew cab. Saw him pulling up someone in a Focus C Max. Lights mounted in board of front grill

The Silver Focus STI was in the same area, just pulled a lorry.. also a light blue Skoda estate with the same slim line roof bar.. Still if only I'd seen the fabia a few months ago...  garyw |
