What, try spraying them or spraying them, then going past a speed camera @ 100mph?

I have tried it. Don't bother. Firstly, not many speed cameras still use a flash. Second you have no proof it will work. Thirdly, you have to mask off the whole damn car cos the stuff goes every where and ruins the paintwork!

Hi :)

Well ALL the cameras around here use a flash.....but no idea if this stuff works, but didn't Top Gear prove that if you pass a camera at over 161 mph it cannot take its picture in time ?

And I know whats coming next and the answer is NO lolllllll

Crazy I may be but stupid I am not :bounce:

All the best Brett :)

Apparently all the police have to do is use a polarising filter when they analyse the shot and the plate shows up.

The other risk is that whilst you have it on the plate when a police car with ANPR fitted (all traffic cars now) it won't show the plate up on the screen. This will let the officer know you have some stuff on your plate, pull you over and fine you (if you are lucky, if lands in court perversion of the course of justice is possible which carries a custodial sentence).

My advice therefore is save your money.

Okay guys, I think I get the message. I must get around to uploading the speed camera locations onto my TomTom instead, eh?

I hope you only tried it for the purposes of scientific research in a strictly controlled environment and not because you had the urge to put the pedal to the metal where the law does not permit said activities??

I sprayed photoblocker on the plates couple years ago. It seems to work with a SLR (low) flash photo. So speed cameras all use polarised filters do they? Also what's this ANPR?

What sort of finish does it have when sprayed on the plates? Is it visible to the naked eye? (i.e. the police.)
