Now guys

I need some advice before I purchase!!

Im thinking about buying a 928 Auto 4.7(1986) which has an intermittent fault ! It doesnt overheat but the problem is below

Point to note

The car has a minor (unsolved problem), the car will start and run fine it idles well, but occasionally (1 in about 15 starts) It will not start. The engine turns but will not fire ‘this will happen if you have been driving for a while’ .If you leave it for about 1 hour and try again she will start up right away. I do not know what this is and could just be a minor problem which I leave to the new owner to sort out.

Does anyone know what this fault could be please?

Cheers
Greg

You got shares in Shell Greg? :D :D

PM Brett if he doesn't spot this he seems to be an expert on 928s especially in making them do warp factor 6!

Brett's reply is in the 928 forum, with a subject of "Thinking of buying a 928" (same title).

Hi All :)

Its ok , nobody deleted my post (this time..... he says with a smile)

I answered the other almost identical post, and saw this one but it seemed pointless to answer both....maybe with the original posters permission this thread could be deleted (damn I cannot believe I just typed that lol) to save confusion....

All the best Brett :)
