Thanks are due to Sean and his team for a great Silverstone, we all know know these things take time and effort to organise so credit where it is due. Saturday was a beautiful day, racing great and Santana was as wonderfully self indulgent as ever. Sunday was colder but time to wonder round what must be one of the most valuable pits ever put together, how many D Type's ? Great event, hope it keeps the format, it's like the old Coy's. Wonderful. (The other club didn't seem to have enough space with it's large camper van and tent........................)

The machinery on view was mind-boggling.

One of Jag XKSS pair had the plate XK5S.

Had never seen a Gulf 917 in metal before, or a Rothmans 956 so if that's all I'd seen would have gone home happy. How about the ultra-rare 'bread van' Ferrari which won the pre-63 GT race?

Must admit there was so much to look at in pits that I only gave the aerobatics team the occasional glance.

I'm pleased you guys enjoyed the weekend, SC is by far the best show of it's type because you can access all areas.

Our area was huge and looked great with several rows of gleaming Porsches. Thank you for bringing your cars along and showing the wider Porsche community that we are a cheaper credible alternative to PCGB.

We had a lot of enquiries from their members who seem to be disgruntled after Blenheim and diappointed that their main parking area was behind the grandstands.

Thanks to Paul Bird who initially set everything in motion with the organisers and to John Brookes who transported the hardware for us.

Watch out for the date of next years event and we will share our plans for 2010 early next year.

Ooh, that's gonna smart!

Never been before, will definitely go again next year. Great weather, beautiful cars, good racing and brilliant parking (once I got in...). Hopefully the organisers can whip up Pink Floyd or something for the Saturday evening! Viva Carlos Santana!
