The Porsche replica steering wheels are coming to the Xbox 360 later in the year. Has anyone had any experience of these from the PC and PS3 machines they're available on at moment? Prices are a bit steep but I don't get on with the Microsoft wheel, I can never seem to get it set right so might invest if these have good reports plus they look good.

Couldn't get the seats in anywhere at my place but something like the wheel stand might be of interest. I just can't get on with the table clamp system :cussing: pedels keep moving and I want to relax in my sofa not sat upright at a table

I have the MS wheel for my 360 (Forza 3 in October...hell yes!! :bounce: ) and sitting on the sofa works for me...the trick is making sure that the cables fit through the little eye-let so that the base fits flush to the carpet. Then, make the pedals sit quite close the sofa so you're pushing down on them rather than across to them...Forza 2 is great fun, DiRT is awesome!!

I'll give it another go. Maybe it's me because I never got on with the Sega Dreamcast wheel either and that didn't have pedals! Really want to get more out of Forza, Grid Racer, Need for Speed series etc so will try some different setups. At least COD6 Modern Warfare2, coming out at end of year, doesn't require a wheel

I know we're going a little off-topic here, but DiRT is one game you have to try with the MS wheel (or any feedback wheel).

Without a wheel, it's a fairly decent rally game (perfect balance between arcade and sim).

With a feedback wheel, it's the most incredible driving experience you'll ever have in your living room!!

If the Fanatec wheel is better than the MS wheel, then Forza 3 and an HD TV and I'm set for the winter whilst my 993 sits in the garage avoiding all that road salt!!
