Hi :)

Must be a bad day for bruises...lol

I was fitting my new race harnesses and had to hit a bracket with a hammer and my daughter shouted Dad to attract my attention....so I whacked my thumb with the hammer lol...now have a huge blood blister :(

All the best Brett :)

I cant run private wards, I just think the NHS trained me long ago at a cost of around 30 k that I owe them a debt. Had the offer of more money etc etc from a private hospital but just couldnt do it. As for closer to Jons, it may be a factor !! he is doing the sc this week ! but the ward is in Bosscum and I dont fancy moving there, but I do need to be closer and Dek works in christchurch so it suits us all round. The new place has all the usual stuff, sickness probs, staff probs, just probs !! so here i go agian being the big bad trouble sorter.

I look after older people with mental illness, they are the most vulnerable and neglected bunch in the uk. the government forget them 20 yrs ago, the nhs doesnt want them to exist. It needs fools like me to continue to push for the best care possible for them. they saw this country through so much and I will not let them be forgotten.

i sort of understand my dad has had alzheimers for 10 years or so and hes only 66, mum only gave up coping with him 2 1/2 years ago and he went into a home and for what she has to pay for him is criminal, yet in scotland this care is free !!

the people I(we) care for are the people homes wont accept, too violent , agitated or whatever. they are bottom of the mental healthcare list and it is sooo wrong. And my head still hurts.
