I should like to nominate TIPEC for a special mention or award from the charity 'Campaign for Courtesy' if I have a seconder here who'd send me their name and address details.

The charity started off as the Polite Society I joined at the start but some screaming and abusive feminists in it started a campaign against it because they didn't want chauvanists opening doors for them, and for them that's what the term 'Polite' meant and they demanded the charity change it's name.

Any suggestions of how my nomination could go would be welcome if such a seconder is forthcoming. I'd write - without my title I got from an internet USA site - rather than email.

I was thinking something like:

"I should like to nominate TIPEC for the example it sets amongst Porsche owners and clubs, some of whom are noted for their rowdy behaviour. Joining Tipec and meeting many of its members has restored my faith that traditional British values are indeed alive and kicking in this country. Well done Tipec!!"
