Has anyone had their car vinyl wrapped? What were the results like? Some examples here

http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/florida/157063-vinyl-car-wraps-fl.html

Have been thinking about a full colour change and this looks like it may be the way to go. Thought it sounded a bit silly to start with, then realised all the buses, vans, etc that are on the street are vinyl wrapped.

A lot of the supercars that are matt grey or black are wrapped

Saw both Ferraris and Lambos at Auto Italia show on Saturday that had been wrapped
you will see the joins when you look closely though

What colour do you have now and what do you want ?

A guy on Pistonheads does this, I think it is around 3k for a decent job. Good thing is when it gets unwrapped no stone chips & pristine paint.

The car is blue. I really like the matt black. I have been looking at a few websites and was thinking it might cost more like 1k. I saw an Audi on a forum that had it done white for 850 apparently, and it looked good from the pictures. If it was going to cost much more than that then I would just stick with the current colour and get the bad bits of paint fixed up. I might have to try and get my hands on a sample of the stuff and see what it is like.

Pistonheads thread show these guys quoting £1.2k for a Clio in their more expensive material and in a special colour

The RS4 looks quite nice, but the photo's dont show a good shine. Does the wrap have a mottled effect?
