Hi Folks This is short notice but is a genuine offer from a Central Region member - John Devenport. Here are the details in John's own words: On 16th February we have 10 places available at one of our Junior Rally Experience Days. these are for 'children' between the ages of 11 and 16. We teach them to drive a rally car. It consists of three drives on a special stage specially designed by us for them. Each drive teaches a little more (starting off, handbrake turns, slalom etc) and they drive with an instructor in the co-drivers seat. at the end the Instructor takes the seat and they get a ride through the stage at a 'little' faster speed to show them what its really like. 60% of the kids that come have never driven before so its OK for anyone (as long as they fit the age criteria and are at least 5 foot tall. February 16th is on a Saturday and there are no other dates available...sorry about the short notice. I can offer this for £85 per pupil (normal price is £99). Bookings can be made through me on 07968 124332 and state they are TIPEC. Incidently the cars are MGZR GpN 1400's and are real rally cars..not just built for instructing. In fact 2 of them have just competed on Wales Rally GB (the British round of the World Rally Championship) and finished first and second in class. regards John Devenport If you're interested please contact John Devenport direct on the number above. |

Me too - apparently its run at Mallory Park on a gravel track. Bet its a right laugh! John's a nice chap as well - anyone going will be well looked after |

For those that can't make it, Prestwold hall also offer junior rally days Also a Junior Ferrari experience but you have to be 12 but only need to be 4' 10" £84 Actually once you start looking there's loads of similar events for kids Never had things like that when i were a lad (or maybe my dad forgot to tell me  )
