To help us all keep those midnight promises, what are you going to do to improve your lot in 2008?

The trick to never having to finish is not to start :)

Nothing really, although the idea of finishing all the little jobs is probably what I should be doing :D

No real resolutions

Just a yearly cut down in January

No Alcohol
No Sweets
No Chocolate
No Take Aways

Will be cooking all my food with healthy ingredients

Hopefully I should loose about 21lbs

The usual for me. Give up smoking.

Its no problem, I've done it loads of times

Incentive this year is to get a 944 in a few months, & I'll have saved enough to pay the insurance :)

I was thinking of making a resolution of trying to be right 100% of the time rather than 99.98%.

Then I listened to these self improvement tapes I had free which said one mustn't try to be right all the time because it affects one's relationships.

Then the tape said one must improve one's self esteem.

I was thinking therefore of compromising and just trying to be right 99.99% of the time.

Well, the weather's hardly good enough to make polishing resolutions!

Well January is nearly over and i've done quite well.

My weight on Jan 2nd was 15st 2lbs (Fat B*****d)
and today it is 13st 12lbs (Not so Fat B*****d) :D

Only trouble is keeping it off, I've been on the wagon for a month and will be falling off with a big bump on Friday as I'm off on my friends Stag Weekend :drunken:

I was already on the wagon before Xmas so nowt to Resolute about. I've also stopped the bread & crap because I've finally grasped that I am wheat intolerant. Now lost a stone & a half since Sept & it's slowed a bit but still coming down.
Big problem is that Becky is a nurse & all the patients give her chocky for Xmas my resistance ain't bad but isn't that good!
