Just got in to find Classic & Sports Car which has a pic of the Porsche 356 on the cover & a copy of All Torque both in placcy bags. It's a tribute to AT that I opened that & had a flick through. CS & C is still in its bag!
Good mag, to knackered to read in detail but looks great.

Excellent mag again guys.

Yes it gets better, but IMHO there is room for improvement - try including a photo of my car next time, eh?

All the fault of the printers, not Sean … just in case anyone took that the wrong way!

Apologies from me for not being strict enough with keeping my eye on them. Won’t happen again, I’m watching them like a hawk from now on.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words—and to everyone who helped out with last-minute writing and photos when we were running a bit short.

I know … all those pictures from the Gaydon test track and not one that showed my own car. That’s what I get for going out in the rain at the end of the afternoon, isn’t it?

Still … I’m sure 135mph in the rain was more fun than it would have been in the dry!

I can vouch for that, I managed 135 in the dry then topped 150 on the wet lap 8)

I’m saying nothing about the 70mph speed limit on test track laps. Nothing at all. We were just following the safety car.

Good read. So you been a bad lad Jim. Me too. But was doing more like 70 coming off the roundabout. Cost me 3 pts & £175. Mrs JJ didn't speak to me for a week. Keep a sharper eye out for plod these days. It was 6 in the morning on a dual carriageway with no footpath. & no traffic. Just a bored plod hiding in the shadows under a bridge.
If speed kills why have the number of deaths on Britain's roads not gone down since the camera revolution? And why if speeding is so dangerous is it ok for a copper to do 100+ in a 30 limit but if I do 33 It's lethal & I need a big fine & to lose my license! Doing 90 on the motorway in thick fog is fine. Just don't do 33 on wide straight roads that used to be 50. Red rag to a bull this.
