I've started a very slow project on an S2 lump to go in my Lux. I have the smaller M62 which came from a Mercedes C200.The problem is it is quite bulky & would be a struggle to fit under a 944 bonnet without a lot of work. The M90 is even bigger so even more of a problem. These positive displacement blowers are also limited in there boost pressure & efficiencies. I'm using a Vortech centrifugal blower. I'm looking at 310-320BHP from an S2 running around 8PSI boost on a standard engine with standard Compression Ratio. Pics are here :-http://www.pbase.com/tr7v8/944_sc_project As for management, I suspect the DME will run out of steam relatively quickly & is an old style ECU anyway. I was looking to either go MegaSquirt or Emerald. 9Meister in Warrington do a kit for the 968, but it is mega expensive circa 6K I understand. |

I specifically wanted a standard looking car so scoops were out. |

Next job is to make the brackets which I'll start once I get the pressing servicing jobs done on mine. Belts & CV joints. |
