Hi,

I'm new to the whole Porsche thing and just bought a Boxter for a bit of fun. I am looking for decent independant servicing in the Bristol area.

I've done a search and found Porschmode in 2 different places :? , one in Montpellier and another in St. Pauls area, and after asking a few mates have pointed me in the direction of Advanced Car Care an independant Porsche specialist in Filton. Porschmode have apparently moved and are now located in St.Pauls for those who know Bristol so I took a drive by their place and found it to be a bit of a mess to be quite frank   . Now, not wanting to pay dealer money for servicing and also not wanting to leave my car in the hands of some people who don't have the appearance of running a professional outfit, can someone please let me know if i'm incorrectly judging a book by it's cover or if they have heared anything decent about Advanced Car Care who are aparently quite new.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated since you guys look like you know a world more about Porsche ownership than I do and this will hopefully stop a newcomer to the marque making a horrible mistake.

Thanks in advance,

Jon

Hi

Look in members list for paul, username starboard147 I think. He's Bristol region RO and should be able to point you in right direction. This region went to visit Poschemode while ago. Found article link for you in All Torque issue 69 http://issuu.com/tipec/docs/alltorque69/4?mode=embed&documentId=081123225008-2f646245395a4dc786035cbf974471aa&layout=grey Find contact info aswell at back of magazine.
Or if you ever wanted a trip to sunny south coast call in to JMG Porsche in Christchurch. Long way but the trip home will be excellent

Happy Porsche motoring

Andy
