Find myself in Cornwall with a knackered alternator (I think) in the SC. Just wonder if someone in the group has any suggestions about getting home to the Midlands..! I have a few possible options of course, but just seeing if there are any others.... |

Replace the regulator, brushes are worn out |

As Waylander said generally brushes are knackered. Any LUK or Bosch agents around. Or a decent old school garage. During Daylight if you charge the battery you should get a reasonable distant. Two charged batteries should get you home. There's deffo some specialists in Devon like Crispin Manners. |

Depending on where you are in Cornwall millers garage in Falmouth are great. Good luck! Edit: just seen the date posted, hopefully you’re home by now!! |
