Some of you know that every October, Andrew, Tony and I run a Porsche Charity day at Goodwood race circuit.
The charity that benefits is a children's hospice, Chestnut Tree House. They care for 300 children and their families across the South-East of England.
These children do not have long to live. The hospice helps ease the different burdens that each family faces.
https://www.chestnut-tree-house.org.uk/But this year is different - they need money now, to maintain the care for children with life-limiting conditions when CTH have lost 70% of their fundraising income due to the Social Distancing measures resulting in no events and closed charity shops.
Could you please donate some money, maybe the value of a tank of fuel you haven't used over the past few weeks?....either through a Virgin-giving page I've just set up, or directly to Chestnut Tree House

Here is a message from Rosemarie Finley, Chief Executive CTH
We have had to close Chestnut Tree House for respite breaks and day care but we are still providing care for exceptional circumstances, end-of-life care and bereavement support. And our Community Team are still visiting children and families who depend on us.
At the same time, our shops have been forced to close and the vital funding they provide has disappeared. Fundraising events large and small have been cancelled. And this is causing us a huge problem.
The maths is simple. It costs £400,000 a month to run Chestnut Tree House, most of which comes from fundraising. And right now we are losing 70% of our fundraising income every month - it is only a matter of time before we run out of money.
So please, if you can, send a gift today. Whether your generosity pays for care in the hospice itself or vital work in the community, I promise you that it has never been needed more.
