Picked up a 944 S2 engine last Friday from Simon at Essential Styling.
It is now sitting on my garage floor awaiting some bolts to attach it to the engine stand. Unfortunately whoever removed it took the bellhousing bolts out. They also cut the wiring loom rather than unplugging it which is a pain. This pretty much confirms my idea of running after market engine management rather than the original Porsche DME. Given the cost of the loom plus the DME & the difficulties of mapping it once the supercharger is fitted.

Not sure about how much space is available for the Eaton blower at the mo, need an S2 to take pics of the engine bay & a measuring session. Will try at our next club night (this Friday).
I may convert the S2 with an 8 valve 2.7 head with a 944 Turbo inlet to get the extra space.
Supercharged by Corky Bell is now compulsory bedtime reading in the Hearnden household.
