Anyone know where I can get a Lewis Hamilton and Massa set of slot cars for decent money. Cant believe I need to pay £30 each car

Make a 7 year old happy for Christmas.

Pretty sure that their is a boxed set from last year. Might find them on fleabay but they'll be big money as Hamilton is a famous lad these days
Otherwise it's trawl the shops.

Be worth getting him membership of the Scalextric club as well. Lots of shops give discounts to members & you get a free car with your £22ish PA membership, all good 'uns as well.

Ebay for sure. I got a grand prix set for peanuts including cars. No Massa but Lewis. It was just dirty. This is a £150 set. There are a few people dumping there entire collection. You should get the pair for £30 top whack. Bit last minute for bargains though. Good Luck.

Here we go, before anybody says anything I have very good black friends and very good black clients. It's the people who call them 'coloured' who have a problem.

You're exactly right Jim. Doesn't it really annoy you when the media refer to Hamilton and Obama as black, when in reality they are half-caste, or mixed race to keep the PC people happy. So to date there still hasn't been a black F1 world champion or a black US president - just half-caste ones. Why can't they simply just congratulate them on their acheivements without the patronising 'first black whatever' headlines.

Anyway, my Scalextric is from the 1960s, with Lotus cars, and the drivers have open faced helmets on.

I just dug my scalextric set out of the loft after 20 years. I totally forgot I had it.

Its still an awesome game. I just went on the rampage on evilbay and bought a few cars.

The new cars with their magnets handl;e so well it takes the skill out of it. I have spent the last couple of weeks showing it my kids and getting them hooked on it.

the minis are great. I paid £5 each! I bought some sticky tyres as a bit of an upgrade, but apart from that is all standard. My kids love them.
