Anyone going to this event at Brands? Any TIPEC region putting on a stand?

Track taster sessions available on both days for £35 and include event admission for the driver. Lots of German Marque racing too apart from the sole formula ford single seater race- always good for a bit of wheel banging mayhem!
It's on the Indy circuit layout so you can see a good portion of the track from any of the viewing points.

Not used to the forum and IPad settings yet so no idea how to post a link-maybe one of our lovely admin team can help out here! :D

We have booked 10 spaces each day for an infield display.

Drop me a note and I will share the discount code which gets you the infield pass.

There are a few places available for each day, drop me a note and I will share the code.

Those going on Sunday get the opportunity to go on track as part of the parade laps.

Camping is an option for £20 an adult including admission with infield parking.

Thanks for sharing this! Didn't realise it was on. I may well come up for this, it isn't far at all.

Won't be in the Porsche though unfortunately.

Update from Brands

We are near the main entrance, just about at the start of The Brabham Straight. With VW in front and BMW behind us.

It was nice to meet you all. A great mix of cars from a 924 to a 991 GT3. A special mention to Ash, he joined the Club whilst at the show and his Techart modified Cayenne, won a Top 10 cars at the event rosette. :notworthy:

Our display of 25 P cars was probably the largest of any of the clubs and groups attending.

As an event it was poorly attended by both the public and Clubs. The racing was ok and overall I had a very enjoyable day.

Shame about Saturday as Sunday I think was much better attended by both the public and people displaying their cars.
All Porsche vehicles were together whether TIPEC or not and made a fine display along Chapman drive. I didn't count all of them but I think we might have been the largest single marque display although the Corrado club certainly had the award for most single model display.
The weather certainly helped and the racing was entertaining if not exactly enthralling. It was my first time displaying my car and despite my concerns about its cosmetic failings, still received a fair bit of attention and positive comments.
The best bit for me though was parking up alongside a C4S and a 968 sport and chatting away with the respective owners as though we had known each other for years- bloody brilliant!
Oh, and I got a bit of track time too!
Great day and I'd do it again next year!

Thank you to Sean for booking the club space and sorting out the infield passes- without that, the day would not have been the same. 8)

Another Cayenne to the fold, can only be good! :blob4: Welcome Ash
Surprised that attendance was poor although the forecast for both days was patchy.

Henry

Pleased that you had a good day.

I had a chat with the organiser on Saturday morning and agreed that we would manage the Porsche area and park all the cars together rather than trying segregate the space.
It made for a much better display, inclusive and more friendly.

Next year will be better, already planning that with MSV for 2018.
