Thanks for the great photos and info. Some lovely cars and high prices. The Speedster looked fantastic at a fantastic price. I didn't manage to see half the FOS despite being there 4 days. |

Thanks Trevor. Yes, it's a lot to take in and our solution is to follow a route that encompasses the specific things that we want to see with the minimum of back-tracking. All credit to you for being there for four days - hope that you've now recovered! A lot of Porsches are now making very strong prices at these high-profile sales and some are now in the investment/objet d'art category and are unlikely to ever be seen outside this environment, not even at concours events. This is rather sad given that they are above all drivers cars, the Carrera RS illustrated being a case in point having started its life being rallied! |
