Hi, I'm a member of 'the other' club and recently went to their trackday at Snetterton and thoroughly enjoyed it. I wondered if your club organised these type of days and if they did, when? where? and at what cost? TIA Here is a link to my youtube videos of me in my 3.2 carrera. http://www.youtube.com/user/nathan911turbo |

We had our first one at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground this summer. You can probably find all the details of cost etc if you do a quick search for ‘Bruntingthorpe’. It was a great day out and I think there’s talk of more next year. |

Great! Was that a circuit? Was the surface tarmac? A fellow 3.2 owner? Is 'All Torque' the club magazine? |

Here you go, the old thread about the Bruntingthorpe event is here. Their proving ground is an old airfield, so tarmac and concrete sections, totally flat with a circuit laid out. There’s a few good fast corners with armco and some tighter twists laid out with cones on the runway/straight bits. It’s cheap and cheerful, perfect for a beginner (which many of us were!) All Torque is the TIPEC club magazine. I put it together every two months. You can view some older issues online here. I don’t have a 3.2, I’m a 944 owner—got a Lux (which is up for sale) and a Turbo (which I plan to keep for as long as possible!) At TIPEC’s national event a few months ago, we got to play on the Aston Martin test track and my little 944T kept pace with some 996s without breaking a sweat … so I’m quite happy holding on to it for a while yet. |

Hi We are currently negotiating another track for 2009 We try to keep the cost to approximately £100 per car. To ensure a place it's best to join the club |

Thankyou very much for all your help. Tony, there's nothing quite like the boost coming on, you obviously have the boost bug! My insurance is due for renewal early next year for my 3.2 carrera. I will see if they will cover me for these type of events like they do with 'the other' club. I think Classicline may get my business next year, I'm currently with AON. Any recommendations of any companies that offer club trackday insurance included with their normal road policy? |

Thankyou for the replies. I will give them both a ring when it's due for renewal in January. |
