Well, as it's Father's Day, I thought I'd share this. My 20 month old son Jack went in the Porsche for the first time last week. He sat in the front, nicely strapped in with a well fitting child seat while I drove him around with the roof down in the red 944 cab. Since then, he's paid a lot more attention to the car, walking round it, generally poking things. Fast forward to yesterday. I was in the kitchen and he wandered through with the June/July issue of All Torque and sat on the floor. He got to page 37, pointed to the picture of the red 944 cab, said the word "car" (which is only the second word he's ever said), pointed to me, then pointed to the back door. Great to get them interested at an early age, but not sure how my 6 year old daughter is going to feel about Jack taking her seat in "Daddy's red car"! Cheers, Bryan |

Oh dear I detect a battle for "riding Shotgun" in the near future. This was how I learned to read, my dad had a mountain of car & model magazines (I'm the same now't changes!) & I wanted to read them. |
