Wasn't this advertised on autotrader short while ago for £20k or so? I'm sure it's the same one. I like 928's but this is not to my taste.

Hi :)

No 928 was every officially made as a soft top...

They were all done by various aftermarket companies...hes being a bit disingenuous saying its only 1 of 3...

I can think of around 12 , mostly in the US...

It also has NOT got 350 hp lol.....and i doubt its even got 300....as the engine is a US/EUROPEAN model not UK...

Worth it....LHD and lots of rain here...lol ...maybe 10k as its different...not 20k...no way in the world....

All the best Brett :)

I actually saw this car at a BP petrol station on the Evesham By-pass about 2 months ago - looked good and sounded fantastic but the '28 just doesn't look right without a roof IMHO

This car started off at £30k in Autotrader and was dropped to £20k

One of our members in Central Region went to inspect it and sent me the details

I didn't go out and buy it nor did I bid on it. No further comment.

Well, let's see where it next turns up.

I wonder if a TIPEC member won it on e-bay at approx £14.5k

This car is keeping various Porsche forums busy!

I was surprised at the price reached on eBay given that really nice looking 928 S4s have been fetching £3-4K through that channel recently.

There were an astonishingly high number of bids, even at early stage of the auction. I looked at the eBay record of some of the prominent bidders and there was a pattern of dormant activity in past, recent membership, and - most damning - high levels of activity with the seller.

As Brian would say, no further comment.
