I think it should stay taxed until the end of the month it is sold in, allowing the new owner to drive it home legally |

In this day and age of online registration and payments, there is no reason that the car cannot be taxed or ended from ownership/SORN on any day of the month and not loose out on a days tax, let alone a month. Its daylight robbery and if a utility or bank was charging in a similar way then OFCOM or the Banking Ombudsman would be all over it, let alone TV's Watchdog. Thieving bar stewards!! |

And one more thing, car insurance should also be similar and not full of speed bumps and potholes of penalty charges. Rant over |

Its simply promoting people driving illegally. I certainly won't be very interested in taxing a car until thr 1st of the following month |
