Never thought I would see it:
Anyone watch For The Love Of Cars on channel 4 tonight?? :?:

30 years ago to celebrate earning decent money after finishing my apprenticeship I bought my dream boy racer orange Escort Mexico and yep the one on the show was it 8)

I put the Webasto full length sun roof in, an old ex tried mounting a MGB with it one wet night on the way back from the pub :drunken:
After getting rid of the ex!!.. Had to fit new O/S/F wing, bonnet, front panel and spotlights. :bounce:
Had it for about 3 years rebuilt the engine, back axle, updated the springs, blimey they were the days....
They didn't do a bad job, wish I'd kept it

Remember driving it everywhere like I stole it :alien:
Once a boy racer always a boy racer

Wonder if they can dig up my old RS2000, or the Savage, or the 2.8i Capri or even the First GTI Golf I had :P

Blimey it's like walking through my very own museum, makes you think what you had and what you should have kept

First car was a Mk1 Cortina which I wouldn't be fussed about having again.
Cars I'd like now are Fiat 850 Sport Coupe, Mk2 Granada Ghia X Estate, Alfa 75 Twin Spark Limited Edition,
