Signed, tweeted to 4000 twitter followers, put on the company facebook page and will talk others into signing it... it is a crazy miscarriage of justice which threatens every business, venue and even way or life in the UK.

Not sure if this petition is out of date, but this BBC article seems to indicate that the stadium has won it's case, and that the house owners have had to pay huge legal damages as a result: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-17182211

Also, in a bizarre twist of fate, it seems that the house owners have experienced their fair share of natural disasters. Clearly the motorsport gods have cursed them for us: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-26365670

A story in a similar vein. I work at an airport and more specifically with some WW2 aircraft. These need fairly regular use to keep them in working order. Needless to say tying down a pilot, nice weather and one of the two of us who work there being at work is a hard hat trick to manage. So when they do get flown they are given a suitable work out.

Last summer one of the pilots turned up on a sunny day and said he would give the 109 a quick flight, he was airborne for 15-20 minutes. A few circuits of the airport, a few big climbs, steep dives, low passes and rolls ect. Everyone on the ground stopped work and enjoyed the show. We pack up and everyone goes how happy, short free airshow ect. The next day we received a complaint, it turns out someone in a house nearby, again who moved near to the airport long as it was built had complained about a loud aeroplane doing aerobatics.

Aeroplanes flying over airfield eh, who'd have thought it?

The gaffer has a short chat with the appropriate authority, the airport now has a dispensation should anyone want to do any "aerobatics" over the airfield again :D
