I'd like to see this. I suppose the 993 is the cheapest 911 available at the moment? As a friend of mine put it: Too old to be worth much, but not old enough to be worth much!

I unfortunately will have to wait until someone kindly puts the episode on YouTube.

Far from the cheapest, most mid 20's up and silly money for turbos

You can get early 996 for low teens and the odd tatty one under 10k

Thought the car looked good in the end.

I'd struggle with spending so much money on specialist adjustable suspension on a targa though, maybe carrera at a push but that seemed silly.

I agree with those above re the 996, I think it's a stonking car, massively underrated and I think it's subtle, clean looks are ageing very well.

Good points everyone. I should have remembered that the 993 is almost 20 years old now, and the last air cooled. I'll just crawl back sheepishly to the 944 forum where I belong.

I very much doubt they paid aywhere near that for the suspension, nice advert for the company.
Probably cost them much less than std set up.

I must admit it did look nice though :D

They do all te spanner work just down the road from our Thames Valley Meets.
Hopefully Paul the mechanic will pop along with his 997 Turbo one Month

The road featured at the end of the show was mostly the buttertubs pass which wends its way up to the Tan Hill Inn, a favourite destination of the NW region.

The Porsche owners featured were from the Lancashire and Cumbria region of PCGB.
