I popped up to the Ace Cafe last night to catch up with ex Thames Valley member Pete Osborne who works for Petrolhead Nirvana.
There were a few Porsches there but also the Wheeler Dealer team were filming.

I know the sound guy Simon as i'd spent the day with him a few years ago when filming my old Fiat Spider, had a good chat with him an also Mike, Ed and Paul the mechanic (he does most of the work)

Ed was looking at my car and started reminiscing about the 924 that they did the very first episode way back 11 years ago, he also said that one of his favourite cars was the 928

Paul, the "mechanic friend" :D , says he does most of the work on the cars and was ver hesitant getting involved in the early days as it meant not spending enough time in his business. That's all changed now the program is a worldwide success, the are spending 6 months filming in USA this year and possibly doing some hook ups with Chip Foose.
Anyway, chatting about cars and it turns out Paul has a 997 Turbo, he said he will try to get down to one of our Thames Valley meets in it if filming schedules allows and might drag Ed along who lives near Maidenhead

Also met a guy in a Ginetta, who it turns out has a 968CS in his garage, he'll be coming along next month

Ace is always a fun place, and looks like even more excitement with the Wheeler Dealer people there! Nice photos Jason, thanks

Possible hook up with Chip Foose, now that would be interesting.
