when does the new higher road tax start?

What year of car does it start from?

The new tax banding starts in April 2009 according to parkers and applies to all cars registered after 1 March 2001

Pre 2001 cars stay as they are until 2010 where they go up to £200 a year (assuming the engine is over 1.5L)

Yup Jag goes from 210 to 300 in this :evil: Ireckon it'll get binned, once the people who aren't petrolheads suddenly wake up to what is going on.
