Still won't charge a dead battery. Needs min 7.5V remaining unless you jump it with a good battery to trick it. Now has a digital screen for selecting programme. My previous version will last a touch longer! It has been a good buy.

They also had a digital/laser thermometer which I did buy, along with a decent space heater to dry out my interior.

Looks pretty good, it is very similar to the Aldi one which is CTek copy, digital display of volts, even has pulse mode for resurrecting old batteries. Got mine not plugged him in yet. Also have a decent 1kg ali bottle fire extinguisher. Car covers, bought two, plus some nice food!

Had a couple of unbelievably good joints of beef from Aldi recently, will be going back for more - they're opposite the electric blankets (which are not suitable for cooking them in!)

Charger now set up & working. It has 4 modes for various battery types including motorbikes. You connect it up, it checks the voltage then you tell it what sort of battery it is & off it goes! Once charged it goes into maintainer mode.
I have the old battery off the 944 which I kept in the garage & has been very useful with jump leads for firing various cars up, both ours & the neighbours!

bought a couple on saturday, use a Ctek on the car but I bought one of these for other ancillary batteries plus my mate wanted one. They seem good quality, IP65, and are made in germany with a 3 year warranty :)

The laser thermometer has proved handy as well. Quite enjoyed pointing it at various engine components yesterday.
