you should have saved all your names and numbers on your sim card

i know that now but i am not mr technology !!!!

Problem with that is, I have 149 contacts with 202 numbers (possible to have 1,000 contacts with 2,500 numbers), but my SIM will only hold 90 and is full.

If I lost mine, I'd be in the pooh pooh too.

mine died at the weekend it just wouldn't switch on so i sorta killed it. thing is its only 3 month old but i didnt have the receipt.

Most mobile phone retailers won't worry about the receipt the IMEI number will date it if there records don't.

I run 2 Motorolas one for work & one for personal & by backing it up using the Motorola software I end up with both phone books cloned to my PC & each other. Most manufacturers offer back up software to manage phone books etc. But my wife doesn't use it either

Gordon, Smiths were doing a good PAYG phone deal a while ago with a Nokia for around £15 on I think Orange, if you're not on Orange then get it unlocked at a phone shop for around £10 & use your SIM.
